By the river stands thy shrine
Sanctuary and temple radiant
Showering thy grace divine.
Peñafrancia , dear dark lady,
Far-famed Bikol Patroness,
Ever every home and hamlet
Of the Bikol region bless.
Great thy name in song and story
As the centuries unroll,
Refuge in the night unfailing,
Haven to the weary soul.
Thou through all the ages symbol
Of our firm, unflagging faith,
Thou the pledge of our salvation
In our pilgrimage through death.
