When far enisled from tumult that alarms, From the hysteria of the madding street, Our hearts to one resistless impulse beat, While to your ardour passion slowly warms, When pillowed on the incense of your arms, I feel the sky and earth together meet, While one by one I tear the flowers sweet, Entwined unseen around your unseen charms.
I see unfold a glimpse of realms where glean A starry heaven lovelier than this, Where in the quiet bower of a dream Love lives forever in eternal bliss, Where Youth woos Beauty and together seem Under the spell of one unending kiss.
